Hello, my name is Robert. I have recently started a blog concerned with the history and traditions of the Lower Mississippi Delta Region – mainly from Memphis south. I would like to include your blog as a link on my home page. I found your entries to be delightful and although not exactly like mine I think they compliment each other very well. My intent is to keep politics out of my blog – or at least my opinion.
I am retired from the National Park Service and am very familiar with entire delta region. I call myself somewhat of a photographer but i do not see my blog being concerned mainly with photography. Was injured in a motorcycle accident in October and I am just now starting to get around. Photography is my top interest but I have a soft spot for preservation and history – thus the blog. I am not sure exactly what i am doing a present but I am learning. I am assuming that you can see my stuff through this link. Also, I have a link to my flickr account on my homepage. Click on one of the pictures and you will be brought to that page in the account. Click on my user name and you should be brought to my photo stream. Thanks for reading all of this.
Hi Robert! Thanks so much for the note and for stopping by. I would love to be included as a link on your blog. I checked it out and really like what you’re doing there! The history and your great photos combine to make something special. Congrats on that! I’d like to add a link to your blog here, as well, if that’s ok with you.
So sorry to hear of your motorcycle accident. I hope you are healing up nicely and feeling better. Good to hear you are getting around some now. Take care of yourself!
Thank you NolaGirl. I would be honored if you listed my blog. As concerns my accident – had a head injury so no vital organs were hurt – just takes longer for brain bruises to heal than regular bruises. Thank you for your permission and for your prompt reply. Take care.
